Familía Update:

So I promised I would write a family email update quickly for you guys! This week went well! First off THANK YOU Aunt Jenn Uncle Rich, Lia, Kate and Eric for the best "GREENIE" care-package ever!! Was super surprised and happy to receive it!

The package has lots of little toys that I can share with the kids of brazil! They are loving it!! makes me so happy to share the love and charity of my family! This work is so great!  Also I received a wedding invitation of Justin’s wedding from Aunt Lorraine! tell her thanks and Justin congrats!! craziness! haha. Also we have another bday this week! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACOB!! he’s growing up so fast! Love that kiddo!

This week had splits with zone leaders. learned a lot and went well! So I promised Chan a funny story. and I have a good one from the other night! so the other elders were staying up talking one night late so I went to bed. when my comp entered our room he turned on the lights to get ready for bed. I jumped up, as I was sleeping, and thought it was morning already! I got on my knees and said a prayer that was probably 15 min bc I was half sleeping then I got up to realize it was midnight! my comp was going to bed not getting up for the day! haha! so funny that I thought it was morning and began preparing for the day! I was very happy and confused to learn it was still night and have more time to sleep. HAHAHAH! the funny things that happen in the mission! Oh so the other night was awesome! I learned how to make pancakes and made some for everyone the other night! I also made syrup homemade! I was pretty proud of myself. haha! and actually all turned out well! I will be making lots more in the future! haha. also had pizza that was super good this week! haven’t tried white chocolate pizza yet but I want to! Oh and we had the baptism of Pedro this week! It went very well.

We are going to continue to strengthen and help this family! We have responsibility. well I’ve got to go family! all is well on the mission! love you guys and have a great week! Lets endure well!

Hey Family!

So this week was a bit challenging but I was able to overcome it and have learned a lot! Overall i am greatful for challenges because when we turn to the Lord, we overcome them, and become even stronger, closer to our Heavenly Father. I love the perfect Gospel of Jesus Christ. This week will be great! We have one baptism planed for this Saturday. His names Pedro. He's 8 years old and his family recently moved to our area. his family are members but not all are active. He was asking for us if he could be baptized! haha he really wants to and is super smart! He knows it all and is really great. hope everything goes well for his baptism planed this Saturday.

Special event this week is Jaydens birthday on july 27th!! Cant beleive shes turning 5! she growing up fast. love that girl, my niece! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAY, LOVE YA!

So i remeber watching gen conf with family in october 2013 and remember seeing a pic of a mission pres and thinking, hey they look similar to my mission president! (i think i had recently received my call) so i learned the other day that it was my mission president they showed a pic during general conference! apparently they are good friends. i believe it was during Elder Henderson or Andersons talk that he showed them. funny the things we learn on the mission later! haha. so this week the church had fest de julho! its a traditional holliday here where they celebrate pioneers, etc! very yummy food, and "quentão" which is like grape cyder and is super hot! like so hot i spilled on my tie! haha but luckily my tie was same color! phew! haha. they also have these cool gaucho dances and line dances of the culture. very neat to see and learn some more culture! Saturday we had 2 service projects in one day! 1st we helped cut down a big tree that had all the branches tangled in telephone wire in the sky. we were sucessful but tired after! haha funny how light the axe felt when we started and how extremely heavy the axe became when we were finishing the job. then we helped the bishop construct some more roofing. service is great! when in the service of fellowmen in the service of God! :) Overall the mission is great! im loving the area and our ward. not extremely fond of the center of the city. LOTS of people for me. but where we work i enjoy! Its coming along. all will be well. We just need to always repent, and obey, and The Lord will provide. I love and am eternally grateful for the miracle of forgiveness and this true and marvelous work! This week will be great family. I love you all and pray for you!
